Tolins Tyres’ Green Milestone: Palakkad Plant Construction Begins

Terra Rubber, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tolins Tyres, has broken ground on a new reclaimed rubber manufacturing plant in Palakkad, Kerala.

Established in October 2025 for rubber recycling, Terra Rubber previously acquired key plant and machinery from Cochin Reclaim and Rubbers in July 2026. This transition into active facility construction marks a major step in Tolins Tyres' backward integration strategy. The Palakkad plant will process production scrap and recover scrap rubber, helping the parent company hedge against raw material price volatility and advance its long-term circular manufacturing goals.
